In March, MoMA will hold a free art party: how to get to it

On the first Friday of the month, MoMA is open late and offers free admission to New York City residents. The galleries are constantly changing, introducing new artists and ideas. UNIQLO NYC Nights – a traditional evening dedicated to art and the city that everyone loves.

Enjoy music from The Lot Radio DJ, plus beers, cocktails and other drinks at the pop bar. Explore galleries, get creative with painting sessions, and watch a movie at the cinema. Shops and cafes will also be open, so you can grab a bite to eat at Cafe 2, have a drink at The Modern or shop for unique design pieces at MoMA design store.

The next event will take place on Friday, March 1st. Tickets from 16:00 pm to 20:00 pm are free for all New York residents, but are required book in advance (up to two adults), as well as subject to availability and confirmation of accommodation.

Tickets for each event go on sale a week in advance, so hurry to be the first to get in. For New York City residents, same-day tickets to the film are also free and sold on site after 16 p.m.

All guests are welcomed at the main entrance at 11 West 53rd Street, which is near Sixth Avenue and next to the museum store.
