On the morning of April 12, at rush hour, several people were shot at a Brooklyn subway station. The station also found "several unexploded bombs," the New York Fire Department said. This news was shared by the agency CNN.
The New York City Fire Department said they were called to the 36th Street subway station in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood due to smoke around 8:30 a.m. Several people with gunshot wounds and undetonated explosive devices were found there.
According to law enforcement officials, preliminary investigation shows that a smoke device was detonated at the station. After that, the shooting started. Sources report 5 wounded, one of them is in critical condition, another one is in serious condition. In total, 13 people were hospitalized as a result of the incident, most of them were injured due to the panicking and fleeing crowd.

According to an initial police report, a male perpetrator wearing a gas mask and an orange construction vest fled the scene. The police are combing the tunnels - several witnesses said that the man disappeared into them.
The NYPD suspects a terrorist attack and have advised avoiding the 36th Street and 4th Avenue area in Brooklyn. The Metropolitan Authority is also investigating the incident and reports that the D, N, and R trains are delayed in both directions in Brooklyn.
