The number of anti-Semitic crimes in New York rose almost 300% in January year on year. The NYPD is investigating at least two more alleged hate crimes committed against Jews over the weekend. Fox News.
According to NYPD statistics, 15 hate crimes against Jews were registered in January. This is a 275% increase from the four hate crimes reported in January 2021.
And for the first four days in February, anti-Semitic crimes continued to rise after reports that school buses were marked with swastika graffiti and a Jew dressed in Hasidic clothing was attacked from behind. The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force said they were investigating both incidents.

According to NYPD statistics, 2020 hate crime complaints against Jews were filed in 116. The data shows that of the 93 people arrested for hate crimes that year, 25 were allegedly committed against the Jewish people.
