The boy's 21-year-old mother, who wished not to disclose her name, said that none of the passengers on the C train, where the attack took place, tried to help her.

“Nobody tried to help me,” she said. - I shouted: "Someone, help me, take the child!" But nobody did anything to help. "

The incident occurred at about 15:00 pm on February 20 at Frederick Douglas Boulevard and West 116th Street station. The suspect entered the carriage and began asking the passengers for money.

The woman asked one of the passengers for $ 20, and then went on to the boy's mother, who was holding the baby using a special carrier on the belts.

"Ma'am, could you please stand 6 feet away from us?" - the boy's mother asked the woman.

“At that moment, she stepped on my foot, and I pushed her to the ground to protect the child,” the victim recalls.

“She turned and hit the child several times. She didn't even hit me, ”the woman said.

When the train reached West 116th Street station, the attacker fled "and no one even tried to stop her."

A man in a ski mask hit and then cut the face from cheek to neck to one of the passengers at the Bronx subway station. The incident took place on February 12, but the police did not reveal it until February 21, as they asked for help in finding the attacker.

The 49-year-old man was at the top of the stairs at Morrison-Soundview Avenue station when he was suddenly struck by an unknown assailant and then slashed his face from his right cheek to the back of his neck with a sharp object.

The attacker fled from the scene in an unknown direction, and the victim ran out of the station to the nearest police car. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
