Two girls were attacked on October 2 in the New York subway. They were attacked by groups of women in neon green full-body suits. The edition told in more detail Yahoo!.
A video of the attack shared on social media shows a group, dubbed the "Green Goblin Gang" by local media, attacking two 19-year-old girls on a subway train near Times Square around 02:00 am.
The attackers fled the scene with the victims' mobile phone and handbag.
The mother of one of the victims said her daughter told her she was attacked by "aliens", adding, "I didn't understand what she was talking about."
According to the mother, the attack happened on her daughter's birthday.
“This is how she spent her 19th birthday. I hope they get what they deserve and then some more because it's disgusting," she said.

The woman said her daughter and friend did nothing to provoke the attack.
“They didn’t even talk to them before,” she said. “Police footage shows my daughter and her friend standing on the platform, talking and laughing. They just pushed them and attacked."
Although the girls refused medical attention at the scene, the birthday girl's mother said they were later hospitalized. The woman reported that her daughter had bruises on her shoulder, abdomen and lower extremities.
The NYPD Office of Public Information said women in overalls escaped the subway and are still at large.
