If you are a fan of unconventional art, you will definitely appreciate Canstruction. This is an annual competition in which architects present a series of unusual sculptures. They are unrealistically large and made from thousands of tin cans, reports Time-out.
This year, 23 cantastic-style art pieces are on display at Brookfield Place, 230 Vesey Street in midtown Manhattan. Visitors can vote for their favorites here.
Canstruction awaits its guests every day until November 11 from 10:00 to 19:00.
Helping the needy
The art in Canstruction isn't just mind-blowing - it's created for a greater purpose.

After the exhibition ended, all canned goods used in sculptures, will be donated to City Harvest, a nonprofit organization that aims to address food insecurity in New York City. It distributes millions of pounds of food each year.
Since its founding in 1982, City Harvest has rescued more than a billion pounds of fresh produce and distributed it to pantries, soup kitchens, and more.
Anyone can join this entertainment for a good cause. This year, visitors will have the opportunity to drop off their canned goods at the Winter Garden on Brookfield Place.
Canstruction has been installed for 32 years in many cities. Each time, the sculptures in New York are slightly better than the others. Previous works have depicted the MetroCard, Buckingham Palace, Yoda and many more.
This year, the exhibition will feature guides who will tell visitors more about how the sculptures were made and show them working moments to keep children engaged during their visit.
