Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Central Park: which paths are worth strolling today?

• West Reservoir (west and east): Both sides of the Reservoir are covered with Yoshino and Kwanzan cherry blossoms;

• Pilgrim Hill: One of the first blooms to reach its peak;
• Sheep Meadow and The Great Lawn: City views are now framed by flowering branches;
• Alice in Wonderland and Bethesda Terrace: Decorative alleys – at the peak of flowering and ideal for photography.

Why you should go this week

The peak bloom period is very short, typically 5 to 7 days. It all depends on wind and rain. This year, all zones bloomed simultaneously, making the viewing window even shorter.
