Century 21 officially announced the opening date of the store in New York: not long to wait

Iconic department store Century 21 has finally officially announced the opening date of its New York store. The flagship store at 22 Cortlandt Street will open in two weeks, on May 16, according to a company spokesperson. Crains.

In 2020, the Gindi family, who own Century 21 through ASG Equities, closed 13 of the chain's stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The department store at 22 Cortlandt Street was one of the closed ones. In May 2022, the company announced that it would revive the Financial District location and the brand is expected to partner with Legends Hospitality.
