With fall upon us, it's time to take a look at how the city is getting ready to embrace the Halloween spirit. By the end of the month, many of us are ready to face ghouls and werewolves, ghosts and skeletons. The spooky time of year is approaching faster than you can say “Boo!” Secret nyc made a selection of the scariest holiday decorations in New York.
Some houses look as if their owners have been collecting decorations for at least a century. From mummies to huge spiders, and countless creatures popping up from the most unexpected places, these are the 10 best neighborhoods in New York, according to New Yorkers.
1. Industry City, Brooklyn
They always have the most amazing - this was the case last year, but this year it will certainly make no less an impression!

2. Upper West Side
Nothing beats gorgeous brown houses decorated with cobwebs. Here you will find everything from spiders to witches that are sure to terrify you.
