Theater educator and Lost & Found Project founder Anya Zitser is recruiting teenagers who fled the war in Ukraine to her theater lab. Education is completely free. This is stated in the post of Yulia Gorodetskaya in Facebook.
The training will take place at the Bensonhurst Jewish Community House. IDP children from Ukraine aged 13 to 17 can take part in the project.
“Soon we will start a theater lab with a group of 13-17 year olds from Ukraine together with Marks JCH,” writes Anya.

The project combines theatrical workshops and trainings with actors and teachers. As part of the project, the participants will create a new performance, which will be shown in March on the stage in New York.
“In our laboratory, we will move a lot, explore, try, make mistakes, laugh, write our own texts about important things, ask questions, fantasize, create new sounds, music, costumes and images, make this world a little better, in a word, together. After all, this is how interesting performances are born due to joint work,” notes Anya.
Laboratory classes are scheduled for every Thursday at 16:00 from January 12. The project will be led by theater teacher and founder of Lost & Found Project Anya Zitser, actor Dima Koan and musician Masha Vasilevskaya.
