What do Charmed, Three Men and a Baby, 13 to 30, and Breakfast at Tiffany's have in common? They were all filmed in Central Park!
According to the report Giggster - a site that helps book locations for filming and events, Central Park is the most visited place in America. At least 352 films have been filmed on its territory. And the average box office (of the top three films) was $117. It is the seventh most profitable filming location in the US.
Central Park featured in films as early as 1908 when Romeo and Juliet was filmed. Other popular movies filmed here are Hair, Ghostbusters, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Die Hard 3. Retribution”, “Balto”, “Stuart Little”, “Mistress Maid”, “Elf”, “Charmed”, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, “John Wick: Chapter 2”, “From 13 to 30” and “ Breakfast at Tiffany's".

The report doesn't even take into account the number of TV shows filmed here! IMDB reports that 753 movies have been filmed in Central Park, including the new HBO Max series The Gilded Age. This show was filmed on Bethesda Terrace.
