Two people died in the New York subway: they were run over by at least three trains

Two people died after being hit by a subway train in Manhattan on the morning of December 20, reports ABC7.

The footage obtained by Eyewitness News is horrendous. It shows how the train enters the 6th Ave L stop right on top of two mutilated and lifeless bodies. Railroad workers rush to the scene, passing through pools of blood on the platform.

A minute later, the train starts to leave.

“I told one guy that there are two corpses down there. He said: “Are you kidding?”, and I said: “No, look, you are stepping into the blood.” There were brains and body parts everywhere,” says witness Sarah Lang.

Lang was on her way to work when she spotted the bodies. She says the bodies looked like they had exploded. She made the video because she thought she was hallucinating.

According to police, a 44-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman (their names have not yet been released) were hit by a train shortly before 10:30 am on Tuesday.

After the first train hit the victims, a source confirmed that two subsequent trains ran over their bodies. This came amid confusion from 911 callers about where the incident took place.

The police and MTA checked the other two stations, but not the 6th Ave stop, where the police eventually found the scene and stopped the trains.

However, police say they don't know much about why the two, who didn't seem to be together, ended up in the path of the first train.

Sources say that the bodies fell into the shadow of the platform. This made them invisible to the drivers of the next two trains, which passed right over them.

What happened to the two victims is still a mystery. There were no cameras on this section of the platform. The police are convinced that someone must have seen it happen. And hopes that this person will show up and help them solve the mystery.
