Two little boys, aged 3 years and 11 months, were stabbed to death in the Bronx on November 26 in the evening. The police said that their 22-year-old mother is suspected of murder, she is in custody, reports ABC7. After the arrest, the woman told the police something about the devil, but the police did not specify what exactly her words were about.
The murders took place in a house on Echo Place in the Mount Hope section of the Bronx. The boys were found with numerous stab wounds to the neck and torso. Their bodies were immersed in water in a bath. The police believe that the murders were the result of a quarrel between the boys' mother and the father of the youngest child. Their verbal skirmish was heard by neighbors.
The first call to 911 came shortly before 19:30 p.m. Arriving at the scene, the police found the mother in an apartment on the third floor, she behaved erratically. Sources say that a little later, the woman tried to set fire to the apartment with a gas stove, and then for some reason turned on the water. During the first visit, the police did not see the bodies of the children.
Frances Pimentel crossed paths with her mother on the street that day. The woman says that she constantly repeated: “What have I done?!…”
Less than an hour later, a second 911 call was received. This time, two unresponsive children were reported in the same apartment. The officers returned to the scene and found the boys with stab wounds.
Police say the mother, suspected of murder, was taken to the hospital for examination. She remains in custody.

Neighbors further down the corridor say they heard the boys' parents quarreling and screaming earlier in the night. They also heard the children's father calling for help.
“He screamed hysterically. He yelled: "Help me!". I opened my door and saw him walking down the hall with two boys in his arms. They were dead. There was blood everywhere,” said neighbor Shannon Holyfield.
Officers and another family member tried to resuscitate the boys. They were rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, but the children were declared dead.
On the morning of November 27, a spontaneous memorial was opened near the house in memory of the victims. Friends and family rallied around the father of the 11-month-old baby who died. He said he was not yet ready to talk to reporters. But he wants to know the truth and is waiting for the children's mother to undergo a psychiatric examination.
