29 November: 1 Tavern on the Green

The 6th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at the historic Tavern on the Green in Central Park on Tuesday! The iconic diner's Christmas tree will be topped with thousands of decorations and garlands to light up New York's Upper West Side skyline. November 29: Bank of America Winter Village in Bryant Park

Each year, the Bank of America Winter Village in Bryant Park hosts a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the holiday season. Admission is free, on a first-come, first-served basis. November 30: Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockefeller Center

November 30: New York Stock Exchange's annual Christmas tree lighting

As has been a tradition since 1923, the 99th annual New York Stock Exchange tree lighting ceremony will take place at Experience Square, located in front of the New York Stock Exchange at the corner of Wall Street and Broad Street. Drink hot cocoa, send a note to Santa and enjoy the atmosphere. Famous artists, organizations and companies listed on the stock exchange will perform at the New York Stock Exchange. Performances are open to the public, the audience will be served refreshing drinks. Events are held from 14:00 to 18:00. And the actual lighting of the Christmas tree usually happens around 16:15 pm. December 1: 16th Annual Dumbo Tree Lighting Ceremony

Enjoy a variety of free, holiday and family activities. From performances by Brooklyn's Steel drum band Jah Pan and animated video projections on the Manhattan Bridge to encounters with Santa Claus and endless hot cocoa and sweet treats. Visitors can bring toys for the toy ride, and letters to Santa can also be dropped into a special mailbox at the Pearl Street Triangle.

The 2nd tallest Christmas tree in New York will be lit up on December 7 this year. So gather under the arch (there will also be a live coverage of the lighting on their Facebook page). The Rob Susman Brass Quartet will lead the artists on holiday songs. Multi-colored lights on the Christmas tree will symbolize the beginning of festive winter evenings.
