This festival brings together hundreds of creators of comics, films and pop culture trends, including thousands of their fans.

What: The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze

More: The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze is back this year with surreal creations like a giant pumpkin dragon and New York City skyline, each made up of hundreds of pumpkins.

This year, New Yorkers will enjoy 2 light shows at once - Blaze: Hudson Valley (at the Van Cortlandt estate in Croton-on-Hudson) and Blaze: Long Island (at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration in Old Bethpage).

The upcoming show is bigger and better with thousands of hand-carved gourd lanterns lighting up elaborately decorated historic landscapes.

Blaze Hudson Valley will cover 54 nights (September 16 to November 20). Blaze Long Island will take place over 28 nights (September 30th to November 6th).
