New York City to Host Wine and Food Festival That Snoop Dogg and Blake Lively Love

The New York City Wine and Food Festival will take place from October 17 to 20. Guests can expect more than 80 events, including, as reported by down town, practical cooking master classes, dance parties, information panels and more.
Events will take place in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.
A special NYCWFF ferry will provide ticket holders with a direct route from Wall Street/Pier 11 to the festival's Invesco QQQ campus at Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT)/Sunset Park, allowing festival-goers to easily travel between events held in the two boroughs.

- Thursday 17 October
Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop present Brooklyn Eats & Beats. Hosts: Esther Choi, Billy Darney, Sean Feeney, Mark Iacono and Michael Solomonov
You won't want to miss the kickoff event of the Food Network NYC Wine and Food Festival! It's from 18:30 to 22 p.m. To kick things off, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be there serving up ready-to-drink cocktails from their brand Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop. You can also try snacks from some of Brooklyn's most respected chefs, like Michael Solomonov, chef/co-owner of rooftop spot Laser Wolf. And Sean Fien, co-owner of Italian restaurants Lilia and Misi, will be serving up his appetizers.

Other local spots serve burgers, tacos, and more. You won’t leave hungry. It’s all happening at the Invesco QQQ Festival Campus in Brooklyn Army Terminal (Pier 4, Brooklyn).

James Kent Memorial Dinner by Benoit New York and Kent Hospitality Group
Chef James Kent died earlier this year. He founded three of Lower Manhattan’s finest restaurants, Crown Shy, SAGA, and Overstory. In his honor, the staff at those three establishments, as well as Alain Ducasse’s Benoit, are hosting a dinner as part of a wine and food festival. Diners will be able to enjoy some of Kent’s legendary New American dishes, along with wines. The event runs from 19 to 00 p.m. at Benoit (22 W. 00th St.).

The Betty BOOze Harvest Happy Hour Hosted by Blake Lively
The actress and founder of Betty Booze is hosting a happy hour event at The Lawn Club (1 Fulton St.) from 17 to 00 p.m. Attendees will sip craft cocktails, enjoy light bites, and play classic lawn games.

Asian Snacks and Karaoke Nights Hosted by Jet Teal
Food Network host Jet Tila hosts this special event, which combines Asian food, stunning views of the New York City skyline, and, no doubt, unforgettable karaoke performances. Guests will be treated to signature dishes from some of New York City’s most famous Asian restaurants, including Nom Wah and Fish Cheeks. It’s all happening at ASPIRE at One World Observatory (285 Fulton St.) from 19:30 to 22 p.m.

Here's your chance to learn how to make Rainbow Cookie Croissant under the watchful eye of Bilena Settepani herself. Participants will learn how to make another social media sensation, the crookie. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 00:11 a.m. at the Institute of Culinary Education (30 Liberty St.).

After a day of delicious food, it's time to dance the night away. Drag Disco is an event where attendees can enjoy drag performances by Rupaul's Drag Race contestants JIMBO and Meatball, delicious snacks, plenty of drinks, and of course, dancing.
The event will be hosted by actor and cookbook author David Burtka and his husband Neil Patrick Harris. It will be held at the Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St.) from 22:00 p.m. to 00:30 a.m.
