The sixth George Gershwin International Competition will be held in New York City from May 14-17. Every two years, it attracts talented pianists from around the world to the Big Apple to showcase their talents to New York audiences.
In addition to cash prizes, finalists of the 2026 Gershwin International Music Competition will have the opportunity to perform concerts in the United States and Europe, record music on renowned music labels, perform solo with orchestras, and receive marketing and media support.

The competition jury includes famous musicians: Van Cliburn Competition winner, pianist Olga Kern, Juilliard Professor Jérôme Lowenthal and other musicians from the United States, Poland, Italy, and Singapore. The founder and chairman of the competition jury is virtuoso pianist, composer, and professor at the Kaufman Center in New York, Michael Bulychev-Oxer.

The competition is named in honor of George Gershwin, whose music has long been a part of the American consciousness. - 14 May, 14: 00 - NSsemi-final of the category “Artists aged 18 to 39” (day 1), Hungarian House of New York (213 East 82 Street, New York, NY 10028);
- May 14 – 19:00 PM - Oopen master classes by Olga Kern, Michael Bulychev-Oxer and Jerome Lowenthal, Piano Piano Studios (37 W 65th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY);
- May 15 – 14:00 PM - NSsemi-final of the category “Artists aged 18 to 39” (day 2), Hungarian House of New York (213 East 82 Street, New York, NY 10028);
- May 16 – 14:00 PM - NSsemi-final rounds of the “Young Talents” category (7-17 years old), Kings Bay Y (3495 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11229);
- May 17 в Hungarian House of New York (213 East 82 Street, New York, NY 10028):
- 10:00 – final of the competition in the “Young Talents” category (7-17 years old);
- 13:30 – final of the competition in the “Artists” category;
- 19:00 – award ceremony and concert of the laureates.
