Free ice cream will be distributed in New York: where can you get it?

The annual ice cream celebration from the famous Ben & Jerry's brings free cold treats to everyone. Fans of the iconic ice cream will be able to try all available flavors and queue for a new portion as many times as they wish. According to Time-out, in New York there are already five such points waiting for you.

Ben & Jerry's stores traditionally offer a free scoop of ice cream to customers in April. Free Cone Day began in 197 at the first Ben & Jerry's store in Vermont as a way to thank the community for the small ice cream shop's first year in business. Since then, Ben & Jerry's has become very popular. Its pastry chefs have created unique flavor combinations of Chunky Monkey, Netflix & Chill'd and Half Baked.

This year the holiday will take place on Tuesday, April 16th. To get free ice cream, just find the nearest Ben & Jerry's store and stand in line. In recent years, his chain has expanded its offerings to include dairy-free options to ensure everyone can partake in the celebration, regardless of dietary restrictions.
