Robbers on a motorcycle dragged a 12-year-old girl along the sidewalk for several meters, trying to steal her chain.

A horrific video shows the moment two men on a scooter dragged a 12-year-old girl down the sidewalk in Queens in an attempt to steal her expensive chain. This is part of a series of crimes that have killed a total of seven people in the area. New York Post.

The girl was on her way home from school around 16:30 pm on October 24 when the men approached her on Leyton Street off Britton Avenue in Elmhurst.

According to a video released by the NYPD on Sunday, a man sitting behind him grabbed an $1800 chain and dragged the girl along the sidewalk. According to the cops, he managed to leave with the chain.

Two days later, the same scammers on a scooter attacked four more victims.

First, they approached a 37-year-old woman at the intersection of 34th Avenue and 103rd Street, hit her in the face and tried to take the chain away from her. According to the authorities, they tore the piece of jewelry, but could not escape with it.

They then attacked a 43-year-old woman walking down 31st Avenue and 76th Street and ripped off two of her chains before driving off.

The accomplices in the crime again took to the streets around 19:00 pm on October 26. They ripped the chain from the neck of a 52-year-old man on 75th Street near Woodside Avenue, authorities said.

Then, around 20:50 p.m., they drove up to a 35-year-old woman on 73rd Street near 35th Avenue and also ripped off her chain.

The robbers reappeared around 15:00 pm the next day, police said. The perpetrators drove up to an unsuspecting 70-year-old woman and grabbed her chain.

After a two-week break, the robbers targeted their next victim, a 48-year-old woman walking along Penrod Street and Otis Avenue around 12:45 p.m. on November 7. The thieves drove up to her on their moped and also tore off her chain.

Fraudsters are still on the loose.
