Want to escape into the forest? Well, escaping New York just got a lot easier. As the Time-out, the two famous rail routes to Vermont began running again on July 19 after more than a year of downtime. Both Vermonter and Ethan Allen Express have resumed flights to Vermont. Tickets for the first week were only $ 1.

Bright summer in Vermont
“The State of Vermont has a lot to offer. Tourists can enjoy a vibrant and varied summer in this state. We are celebrating the return of The Vermonter and Ethan Allen Express, ”said Ray Lang, Vice President of Amtrak. “We hope residents and guests of the state can join us for a safe and relaxing trip. Whether meeting friends and family or traveling to one of the state's many charming cities. Maybe it's a food tour, or they might want to ride a bike or go hiking. ”
