'Squid game' in reality: New Yorkers are invited to try their hand at a film competition for a valuable prize

Netflix's new Squid Game hit a hit in dozens of countries in just a month. If you haven't watched it yet, we recommend filling this gap. Meanwhile, New Yorkers are offered to play this game in reality, reports Travel and Leisure... The stake will not be as high as in the movies - you won't have to fight for your life. And the victory will result in an excellent prize - a trip to South Korea.
Inspired by the success of the series, the Korea Tourism Organization's New York office is hosting Korean New York Tour with Squid Games... Participants are encouraged to play traditional Korean children's games like in a movie. And don't worry: the only thing at stake here is the prize.
Eighty applicants will be selected to participate in the six-hour event. It kicks off at noon on October 26 with a visit to Manhattan attractions inspired by Korean culture... These include an exhibition of Korean art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Korea Cultural Center, Koreatown and others.
On the way, the members will play traditional Korean children's games from the TV series. Including "Red Light - Green Light"; the cookie challenge and the Ddakji game (the stacked paper tile game that kicked off Ki-Hoon's journey in the series).

Everything will take place in green tracksuits like the heroes of the Squid Game, each participant will receive these clothes as a gift.
Prizes
The first place winner will receive a flight to and from Korea. Apple Watch 7 will be awarded for second place. Two more participants will receive gift cards Amazon for $ 50, in addition, other less valuable, but very memorable prizes are provided.
