'Looking for a gay wife': New Yorker surprised by unusual announcement

A New Yorker tried to come up with a clever solution so his wife could safely attend weekend events without him present, reports NBC New York.
A Craigslist ad, screenshotted by popular nightclub producer Terence Egerson on his Instagram, says the husband is looking for someone to accompany his wife during her weekend entertainment so that the husband himself can get some rest.
Edgerson, known as NYSocialBee, shared a screenshot of an ad titled “Looking for a gay man to take my wife to a party,” even though the original ad itself has already been removed from Craigslist.
“My wife is wonderful, but she always wants to go somewhere. Especially at electronic music events in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, I cannot live in such a rhythm. No, I'm not disabled, nothing like that. I just need someone to accompany her to these events as a friend so I can get some rest.”

The husband wrote further: “Ideally, you are into this type of music, like to party and are probably in your 20s and 30s. She is 30 years old."
The husband set an hourly rate ($30 an hour) and also offered to cover the cost of admission to any event that took place on Friday or Saturday.
