JetBlue, known for its low-cost domestic flights, launched its first transatlantic flight on 11 August. Flights are operated between New York and London. California News Times.
Low-cost carriers have transformed short-haul travel in the United States. They operate simple flights "from point to point" for a low price, but only basic services are inexpensive - any additional trifle requires an additional payment, and rather big. These tricks do not carry over well on long flights. Saving on food or luggage on 10-hour travels across multiple time zones is more difficult than on fast flights.
But low-cost airline JetBlue believes it can overcome these obstacles. For flights from New York to London, the company uses a new type of aircraft: Airbus NS321LR. It is a long-haul version of Airbus' narrow-body short-haul flagship aircraft. It is cheaper than wide-body aircraft, smaller, easier and cheaper to refuel.

These JetBlue jets have 114 regular seats and 24 business class seats for passengers seeking better comfort at a higher price.
Direct flights are available from New York (JFK) to London Heathrow as well as London Gatwick. They are carried out daily: a one-way ticket costs at least $ 252 (depending on the date). You can view the price calendar here to register:.
