Many dream of getting a government job in New York. But for this you need to pass the exam, and they pass according to a clear schedule. You can subscribe to a special newsletter - "City jobs and municipal service announcements" - to receive announcements about upcoming exams.
Please note that in order to take the exam, you must apply and pay a fee (or receive a fee waiver). Please note that some exams may be canceled or postponed. So check the schedule regularly if you plan to apply or take an exam.

DCAS Computer Testing and Application Centers (CTACs) are open to visitors by appointment only. Appointments can be made via OASys.
Starting March 1, 2021, all exam-related notifications will be sent via email only.
Inquiries regarding the status of the roster of candidates may be emailed to the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services at: LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov.

- Testing centers are located in each county, you can find the closest testing center to you on the site (must be booked via OASys).
