She shared her video titled “How to Increase Your Chances of Winning the Scratch Lottery” on YouTube.

First of all, she advises making sure that the lottery whose scratch card you are buying still has prizes to win.

Essa says: “At any given time, 10% of scratch lotteries have no prizes left at all. You don't want to pay for those lottery tickets. It is perfectly legal to continue selling tickets after all prizes have been won. So do a little research before buying a ticket.”

Essa says there are mathematical methods you can use to increase your chances of winning. In doing so, she debunked the myth that winning scratch tickets look different. If they printed winning tickets randomly, without a pattern, they could print tens of millions of dollars worth of winnings just by chance. But they must limit the number of winning cards to a certain amount. Thus, for example, they print 250 winning scratch cards for every thousand. Due to their random distribution between stores, not every fourth or fifth card will be a winning one. But you can significantly increase your chances of winning by buying 10 cards at a time.”
