The 25-year-old Queens resident faces multiple charges. These included assaulting a police officer and hitting an NYPD officer with the door of his car as he was running from a stop. And then he forced the police to go after him in pursuit of the elevated part of the subway, according to NBC New York.
Brooklyn 90th Precinct officers legally stopped Kendall Floyd's car near Humboldt and Debevoise Streets around 6:16 p.m. on July 10. It's unclear what prompted the initial stop, but a police spokesman claims Floyd threw open his door and hit an officer in the process.
Floyd then fled. The police caught up with him near Broadway and Thornton Street, about three blocks from the original stop. It was there that Floyd climbed up a support pole onto the elevated subway tracks. He then jumped onto the roof of the building.

A video posted to Twitter captured the jump. People on the street stand with their hands pressed to their heads and say: “Don't jump! Do not jump!" Their faces then show utter disbelief as the person hovered in the air above them and reached the other side.
Some couldn't help but applaud.
Authorities claim that Floyd suffered a leg injury during the jump. Shortly thereafter, the police were able to arrest him. The guy was taken to the hospital, everything will be fine with him. The officer he allegedly hit with his car was also taken to the hospital. And he will be fine too.
