Before quarantine, New York was considered one of the busiest cities in the United States. Today it looks deserted without eternal traffic jams and crowds in the streets. How the city looks like a bird's eye view, shown in the video of the publication "Voice of America".
Before the quarantine, life in the Big Apple was in full swing: there were always a lot of people on the streets, eternal traffic jams on the roads, which became almost the hallmark of this city.
But the coronavirus pandemic changed everything.

The first restrictions due to the coronavirus in New York were introduced on March 13. About a week later, the authorities ordered the closure of the entire business, except for the vital. To adapt to the new reality, the townspeople took several weeks.
Gradually, people in the streets became less and less. Traffic jams in the city have disappeared.
As can be seen in the breathtaking shots, traffic almost stopped on the streets. Only occasionally passes a few cars. The famous Brooklyn Bridge is almost empty.
The city center is also empty.
For example, there is practically no traffic near the famous iron house, or Flatiron Building, in Manhattan: only occasionally does a cyclist pass or a pedestrian crosses the road.
There are no people in the squares either.
The central park from a bird's eye today resembles a nature reserve rather than a popular meeting place for tourists and citizens.
Despite the fact that the city has changed beyond recognition, the isolation regime has its advantages. So, the air in New York has become cleaner, which positively affects the environment.
Among the minuses is the fact that despite quarantine, the Big Apple is observed surge in crime.
