At the College of Education Columbia University enrollment for English courses has begun. You can now register for the summer semester.
Most of the course instructors are linguist graduate students in the college who are in teaching practice. Mostly teachers of specialized classes (conversation, pronunciation, grammar and writing) are doctoral students.

Among the courses you can choose from are ESL courses, that is, English as a second language, as well as conversation classes, pronunciation, grammar and writing, preparation for TOEFL.

The maximum number of students in any course is 20. However, the average class size is 15 or fewer students. The size of the class depends on its type, as well as its popularity in a given semester.
Courses are suitable for all levels (beginner to advanced) and cover all skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation and grammar.
On average, one semester costs $350-$450. It all depends on the chosen course. You can choose morning or evening classes, some of them will be held online, and some - in the college building. The summer semester of learning English will run from July to August.
