Pantone call This year's color is Viva Magenta. It symbolizes courage, optimism and self-expression without limits. Now you can immerse yourself in the energy of this purplish pinkish red hue in the latest tech experiential art exhibit called MAGENTAVERSE. Multi-sensory exhibit from ARTECHOUSE NYC will run in Chelsea until May 29, reports Time-out.
The hour-long exhibition session begins at the Immersion Gallery with a 22-minute film exploring the character and depth of Viva Magenta through a panoramic projection with powerful audio systems. The inspiration and materials for the installation are taken from nature, as well as from the work of the James Webb spacecraft, which captures space in a resolution never seen before. The images in the installation are reminiscent of space objects, coral reefs, gems, balloons, molten metal, anemones and flowers.
After the Immersion Gallery, pay attention to the interactive displays located upstairs near the bar. Speaking of the bar, it has an extensive cocktail menu, including purplish pinks.
“The exhibition brings together art, design, science and technology,” said Sarah Walker, Pantone Senior Director of Marketing.
This exhibition is not the first collaboration between ARTECHOUSE and Pantone
Similar installations have previously featured other Pantone Colors of the Year awards, such as Very Peri, Ultimate Gray, Illuminating and Classic Blue.

If you haven't been to ARTECHOUSE NYC yet, then you should fix this as soon as possible. The place itself is very cool. It is located in a 100-year-old boiler house under the iconic Chelsea Market. And is known for using the largest seamless megapixel projections of any cultural institution. It is also the first digital art space in the country.
MAGENTAVERSE at ARTECHOUSE is located at 439 W 15th Street in Chelsea. Tickets are on sale now and available for every day until May 29th. The entrance ticket costs from $25.
