The DoorDash courier refused to give the ordered food to the customer because he offered her $ 8 tip, which, in her opinion, is too little. The details of the incident were told by the publication New York Post.

Their quarrel was filmed by a Ring doorbell camera installed outside a house in Smithtown, Long Island.

“I don’t think you understand what the distance is, because if you understood the distance, you would never have given the amount that was handed to me,” the courier said.

She then explained to the customer that she “drove 40 minutes” to deliver the order from the nearby town of Kommack.

The customer insisted that such a delivery involved a "15-20 minute drive", but the woman denied this.

“I just drove this distance, it's 40 minutes. It's 12,5 miles (20 km), ”she said.
