LEGO invites New Yorkers to play virtual snowballs

As the holiday season approaches, LEGO is launching a new interactive Snow Throw competition, the world's first transatlantic virtual competition that will bring together shoppers from New York and London to compete in a unique challenge, according to the release. Amny.
On November 8th, native New Yorker and fashion icon Eva Chen threw the first snowball with her two children Ren and Tao, throwing snowballs at the Millie family as they played at the LEGO Group London store in Leicester Square. New Yorkers can try their super powers at the 5th Avenue LEGO Store located at 636 5th Ave.
“Who doesn’t love a snowball throwing competition, especially on the other side of the world! The kids and I had so much fun participating in the LEGO Snow Throw and throwing the first snowballs for New York City. New Yorkers can't help but be competitive, and I hope our London friends on the other side are ready for us to give it our all! says Chen. – What a fun addition to your shopping trip this holiday season. My family and I will definitely be returning to the LEGO Store on 5th Avenue to add a few more points to the scoreboard – we are in the game to win.”
Build to give
In addition to the Snow Throw event, store visitors can take part in the LEGO Group's annual Build to Give initiative, where LEGO fans can build a heart using LEGO bricks and share it on social media using the hashtag #BuildtoGive.

For every creation published, the LEGO Group will donate one set to a child in need through charities including Save the Children. This year they plan to donate more than two million kits worldwide.
The LEGO Snow Throw will be on display at the LEGO 5th Avenue store throughout the holiday season.
