Dozens of New York City colleges have been named among the nation's best in two separate rankings, reports democratandchronicle.
Rating The Wall Street Journal’s 500 Best Colleges 2025 “assesses how well each college prepares graduates for financial success.” And Forbes recently released its annual list of America’s Best Colleges. Experts evaluated 500 schools and highlighted those that “offer the best educational, financial, and career outcomes for all students.”

With an overall score of 60,4, St. John Fisher University ranked 277th, followed by the University of Rochester at 316th with an overall score of 56,9 and the Rochester Institute of Technology at 56,7th with a score of 318. Nazareth University also made the Wall Street Journal list, ranking 478th with a score of 35,5.
