A man masturbated on a JetBlue flight from New York: passengers had to be transplanted away from him

His companions hope he doesn't get off that easy. A man on a JetBlue flight from JFK to Detroit was arrested Nov. 7 for masturbating on a two-hour flight, reports New York Post.

The incident was reported WJBK-TV, as the channel's editor-in-chief was also on board Flight 1019.

“There were rumors about what happened while we were on the plane,” said FOX 2's Chris Farina. “It was said that the intruder had unmasked himself. And now it turns out that it was something more. It's not what you expect when you fly home."

Crew members became aware of an incident involving potentially inappropriate customer behavior. They moved the passengers sitting next to him further away, the airline said in a statement.

As soon as the plane landed, the suspect was charged with petty disorderly conduct, according to the Fox affiliate.

“Three Metro Airport Police officers boarded the plane. And in a few seconds they were already taking the guy out of the plane, ”said Farina.

The Wayne County Airport Police Department said the suspect had been handed over to the FBI.

“The safety of our customers and crew members is JetBlue's top priority. And we will support law enforcement in this case. Further requests should be forwarded to the authorities,” the airline said.
