In Manhattan in New York, there is an unusual Belle Fleur flower shop where you can buy exquisite flowers and bouquets. The studio is owned by Bella Mayer, the granddaughter of the famous artist Marc Chagall - one of the most famous representatives of the artistic avant-garde of the XNUMXth century.

In this studio, master classes on drawing up bouquets to the music of Mozart are held. The walls of the room are decorated with a projection of Chagall's works. Inside there are also furniture from the Chagalls' Paris apartment - for example, the bathtub in which little Bella was bathed, and bookshelves.

According to the shop owner, flowers have always been important in her relationship with her grandfather. Bella and her parents lived in the south of France, but often visited a relative in his studio, stopping in a neighboring village on the way to buy flowers. “There was a market from where we always brought out a huge bunch of flowers - not complicated, not pretentious, very simple. And they took him to him, ”said the artist's granddaughter.
