House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was booed by New York City Music Festival attendees after she made a surprise appearance at the event. The edition told in more detail Fox News.
Pelosi took to the stage at the Global Citizen Music Festival in New York, where she was booed by the audience.
After being introduced by Priyanka Chopra, Pelosi spoke briefly about carbon pollution and climate change.

“As Speaker of the House of Representatives, I am here to thank you for your brilliant advocacy, entrepreneurial mindset and determination as global citizens,” she told the crowd. “Thanks to your help, the United States recently passed historic climate legislation that will be a game-changer. By 2030, carbon emissions will be reduced by 40%, which will provide a historic $370 billion to fight the climate crisis.”

The crowd reacted loudly to her words, booing the speaker. Pelosi can also be heard mentioning that her grandchildren, Paul and Thomas, are among the crowd.
Other people can be heard cheering Pelosi and applauding.
