The NY Lottery has admitted that an employee error caused the organization to post the wrong winning numbers from its latest Mega Millions draw. Daily voice.
The correct winning numbers for the Tuesday May 10th draw were 15-19-20-61-70 with Mega Ball 9 and Megaplier 3X. The NY Lottery originally mis-listed Mega Ball 6, including on screen graphics and on the lottery website, before the error was discovered.
“Following the Mega Millions draw on May 10, 2022, human error caused winning numbers to be entered incorrectly in New York State. This resulted in the publication of the wrong Mega Ball number,” the NY Lottery said in a statement.

The lottery has temporarily suspended prize payouts for all Mega Millions tickets. All Mega Millions players must keep their tickets for the May 10, 2022 draw until the issue is resolved.
As of Wednesday, May 11, the New York Lottery has not reported that anyone has won the $86 million Mega Millions jackpot. It is not yet clear if this will change due to the new Mega Ball result.
If no one claims the jackpot, almost $100 million will be up for grabs in the next Mega Millions draw. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 302.
