New York's airport has the second-highest number of complaints about mishandled baggage in the country, according to Yahoo.
A study conducted by Upgraded Points analyzed complaints about lost, delayed, or damaged property. Experts determined which airports were most likely to cause problems for travelers. It turned out that John F. Kennedy International Airport had the second highest number of complaints related to bagazh, — 1,72 per 100 passengers.
“Some airports are notorious for their baggage incidents. To identify the worst offenders, we looked at the number of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) complaints over the past 10 years at 60 of the busiest U.S. airports. We adjusted for passenger volume to ensure a fair comparison across airports of all sizes,” wrote Alex Miller, founder and CEO of Upgraded Points.
