4 years, 4 minutes of silence, 4,000 steps: Brooklyn to hold a symbolic march in support of Ukraine

On February 24, a symbolic march in support of Ukraine will take place in Brooklyn. The event marks the fourth anniversary of the start of the full-scale war. Organizers invite all concerned to join the memorial event on the boardwalk in Coney Island.
It will soon be four years since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
Many Inhabitants have been and continue to be involved in support rallies all these years.
Not everyone can make it to Times Square on this date. Therefore, an alternative format for participation is offered for local residents.
Symbolic march along the boardwalk
The event was called: "4 years. 4 minutes of silence. 4,000 steps."
The meeting is scheduled for February 24 at 19:00 PM.
The meeting point is the intersection of Coney Island Ave and the Boardwalk.
The program includes:
- 4 minutes of complete silence in memory of the victims;
- a symbolic march of 4,000 steps;
- procession to Ocean Parkway;
- performance of the anthem;
- lighting candles.
Participants will walk approximately four blocks to the intersection of Boardwalk and Ocean Parkway.

The organizers emphasize that the march is symbolic. It is an opportunity to honor the memory of the victims and express solidarity with Ukraine.
