1. Shu Jiao Fu Zhou, Lower East Side

This is delicious Chinese institution won't break the bank. Everything is affordable and delicious. Try their wheat noodles with peanut sauce ($3), pork dumplings with green onions ($3), and wonton soup ($2).
2. 7th Street Burger, several locations

This tea shop doesn't just serve aromatic iced teas ($5,75)—it's the only place in New York City to sell Japanese mochi doughnuts ($4,50-$5,50). Experts recommend trying the boba-filled pastries ($5,50).

Great NY Noodletown opened late last year, so now is a great time to stop by for a cheap bite! Their $7,50 noodle soups are some of their most popular, and their $8,75-$11,50 Lo Mein (Hong Kong style) is also worth checking out. They also have larger Chinese snacks if you're looking for something a little more substantial.

18. Xi'an Famous Foods, Chinatown

There are plenty of Xi'an Famous Foods around New York City, including a large one in Chinatown. Their most popular items are the B1 pork burger and the B2 spicy cumin lamb burger, both under $7 each. Their $10 noodle dishes are pretty good, too.

This place is perfect for dumpling lovers. The 10 for $4,50 deal at Super Taste is really hard to beat. They also have a lot of hot and spicy snacks that are very affordable, as well as juicy noodles that are so enjoyable to eat.
