Star Wars in New York: Fans can expect screenings of the saga and lightsaber battles

On Saturday, February 22, United Palace will host a one-day marathon based on the original Star Wars trilogy. Fans can expect live performances of classic soundtracks, a costume parade, a Yoda impersonation contest, a lightsaber duel and an appearance by the Empire City Garrison stormtroopers. Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique concert on February 22 to celebrate the anniversary of the magnificent United Palace in Washington Heights.
It's all part of the opening of the 2025 Movies at the Palace season and the venue's 95th anniversary. Live organ performances of the soundtracks pay homage to the Divertissement Musicale, which was originally performed there by the Loew's Grand Orchestra. Audiences will also have the chance to compete in a Yoda impersonation contest.

Fans can enjoy signature cocktails and raffles for movie memorabilia.
