Air transport operator Blade offers an alternative to public transport and long commutes. New Yorkers will be able to avoid traffic jams on their way to their Manhattan offices by flying in a helicopter, reports Bloomberg.
Blade Urban Air Mobility Provides flying by helicopter between Manhattan and two nearby airports. The company is opening its routes to passengers on Long Island and New Jersey. This is convenient for those willing to spend more to reduce the time spent commuting to and from work.
The service will provide residents of the Nassau County and northern New Jersey enclaves with the ability to travel from the airport to Manhattan's west side in about five minutes.

Customers can purchase an annual subscription to the service for $195, which allows unlimited flights per year for an additional $95 per flight. Blade has been flying passengers to and from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey for more than a decade.

With this pass, passengers can park at any of these airports and then fly to the Blade helipad at 30th Street and 12th Avenue in Manhattan's Hudson Yards.
