If you're ready to find "your person," pop-up restaurant Dear Strangers will help you do just that. Time-out tells about an unusual dinner in the style of the show Love is Blind for those who are still looking for a partner.
Love is Blind is a reality show that follows a simple but interesting formula. Contestants “meet” each other in a futuristic capsule. There, they can only hear each other’s voices. After a long courtship over 10 days, the resulting couples emerge engaged and ready to get married within a month.
On February 16, you can put this reality-TV approach to work at Love is a Blind: A Dining Experience. The event, hosted by Dine with Dez and the modern dating app Beyond, will take place at Dear Strangers in the West Village. Marissa George from the latest season of Love is Blind will host.
How to find a match
Guests will need to fill out an application that assesses your interests in terms of dating. It must describe everything from hidden talents to red flags. Those who are chosen will be offered a $150 dinner ticket. The proceeds will be donated to victims of the Los Angeles wildfires through the organization Walk Good LA.

The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail. After socialising with other participants, guests will be led to a table, blindfolded and seated opposite their potential soulmate. During the three-course dinner, there will be the chance to fall in love blindly or be kind while trying hard not to spill your drink.
