According to the latest reports, American hospitals are recognized as some of the best in the world. And one of the New York hospitals is among the top ten in the United States, reports Silive.
The new World's Best Hospitals 2025 report, produced by Newsweek in partnership with global data platform Statista, includes more than 2400 hospitals from 30 countries.
Which US hospitals are included in the ranking?
Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and Cleveland Clinic in Ohio were identified as the top two hospital in the world, and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland and Massachusetts General Hospital were among the top ten medical institutions in the world.
Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan ranked seventh best hospitals in the United States and 19th in the world.
New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell, Manhattan, ranked 77th, and NYU Langone Hospitals – Tisch Hospital, Manhattan, ranked 93rd in the world.

Hospitals are ranked based on peer recommendations from a survey of more than 85 medical experts, patient experience data, and hospital quality metrics. In addition, Statista Patient-Reported Outcome Measures were used.
The United States has 430 institutions listed in the ranking, more than any other country.
The largest number of hospitals on this list were from California—41 institutions.Texas has 29, followed by Pennsylvania (26), Illinois (21), and Ohio and Florida with 20 each.
The best hospitals in these states were affiliated with major universities or part of a large hospital system.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Illinois, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania were listed as the best hospitals in their states.
