On January 1, a 29-year-old doctor pushed a 72-year-old man onto a moving train in the Bronx subway without provocation. The suspect had previously worked in Russia, according to NYPost.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the 161st Street–Yankee Stadium station. Investigators allege that Anton Aleshin pushed an unknown elderly man onto a southbound No. 4 train.
According to police, Aleshin may have been intoxicated at the time of the attack.
The condition of the victim
As a result of the incident, the man lost consciousness and had scratches on his face.
