A Ukrainian woman wanted by Interpol for drug trafficking has been detained in New York.

American ICE immigration service reported about the arrest of 40-year-old Ukrainian citizen Angelina Polischuk. She is considered a dangerous criminal and international fugitive.
She was in the United States on parole and was wanted in her home country for drug-related crimes.
Detention during a special operation
On November 20, members of the Fugitive Operations unit carried out a targeted operation.
Polischuk was entered into the database as armed and dangerous.
She was on the international wanted list - there was an Interpol Red Notice against her.
How Polischuk came to the US
The fugitive arrived in the United States on June 16, 2023, via John F. Kennedy Airport.
