New York millionaire saved lion cubs from a zoo in Ukraine: the kids will fly to the USA on a luxury private jet

Four lion cubs rescued from Ukraine will be flown by private jet to the United States with the help of a Hamptons tycoon. New York Post.

Andy Sabin is a New York steel millionaire and president of the board of directors of the South Fork Museum of Natural History. He donated $50 to save the cubs. Furry travelers will arrive in America on a luxurious Gulfsteam G000 aircraft. And then they will be moved to a new home at an animal shelter in Minnesota.

Sabin learned about the plight of animals from the International Fund for Animal Welfare. The latter also provided $50 to save the babies. The businessman negotiated a $000 service with Flexjet to safely deliver cubs named Prada, Taras, Stefania and Lesya to America. There are already over 40 different animal species named after Sabin as he took part in their rescue.

“These are four lion cubs,” explained Sabin, an endangered animal activist. “They were confiscated in Odessa, the cubs, apparently, were illegally put up for sale. They are two months old.

Sabin added that animals cannot be transported by cargo aircraft due to the low temperature in the cabin of such liners. To help them make the journey safely, he called for help from Flexjet. The company said that they can transport lions in special boxes. This will prevent possible accidents along the way, which could lead to the breakdown of the luxury aircraft.

There will be a nice cargo on board, as well as a veterinarian and accompanying Anna Kobylarzh from the Polish-American Foundation of Connecticut. She was a volunteer in Ukraine during the rescue of cubs and agreed to help. Now the cubs are being checked at a zoo in Poland before they travel on a private jet. Then they will go to Chicago. And then the cubs will be delivered in a heated car to a shelter in Minnesota.
