Looking to make money cleaning snow and ice this winter? If so, now is the time to apply. The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) announced that registration is now open for those interested in working as a snow sweeper in New York. Silive.
Those who register will be recruited during snowfall in the city during the 2021-2022 winter season. These are day laborers who remove snow and ice from bus stops, pedestrian crossings, fire hydrants and street steps after heavy snowfall.
Snow cleaners initially earn $ 15 an hour at the start. Earning is $ 22,50 an hour after you work 40 hours a week.

Who can apply?
According to the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY), snow cleaners must be at least 18 years of age, qualified to work in the United States, and capable of heavy physical labor.

All applicants must have the following documents with them:
- Two small photographs (3,8 x 3,8 cm)
- Original and copy of two identity documents
- Social Security number
