The parade is held annually on March 17 at 11:00 am sharp in honor of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland and the Archdiocese of New York.
The parade route follows Fifth Avenue, starting at East 44th Street and ending at East 79th Street. Approximately 150 people take part in the parade, which attracts about 000 million spectators.
