NYC Ferries will operate a new schedule next month. According to the idea, the upgrades will allow passengers to get to Wall Street faster during peak hours. News12.
NYC Ferry is confident that the upcoming schedule change will allow ferries to compete on time with other forms of public transport during the morning peak hours.
The essence of the changes
From March 8, ferries departing from Bay Ridge will only stop at Atlantic Avenue and Brooklyn Bridge Park before heading straight for Wall Street and Pier 11.
Ferries departing from Sunset Park and the Brooklyn Army Terminal will make two stops at Governors Island and Red Hook before reaching Lower Manhattan.

Called the Faster Connections Pilot, this update will result in one fewer ferry during morning rush hour starting March 8th.
NYC Ferry says they will evaluate performance and customer satisfaction to determine whether these changes are worth making permanent.
