While one gallery will focus on still life and genre painting in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, the other two will provide an overview of oil sketches from the XNUMXth to the XNUMXth centuries, which epitomizes the Giovanni Battista Tiepolo Museum's unrivaled collection of works. The large gallery will house portrait painting of the Great Age, where outstanding paintings by Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck will be compared with the monumental family portrait of the banker Everhard Jabach by Charles le Brun.

This seminar is designed to examine the continuity and change in the militarization of culture and to assess the challenges that the current situation presents for the development of peace, equality and justice.
